In so far as ‘vibes’ and ‘moods’ become more important in hip-hop, Nav captures the feeling of boredom exceptionally well. Surrounding himself with hip-hop’s most superficial, NAV somehow manages to represent even less. –Vijai Kumar Singh (Exclaim!)

There are hints of this fledgling growth throughout Good Intentions. Adjusting for expectations, this is his best album yet, one in which he makes half-hearted stabs at “maturity” and occasionally tries to be in on the joke. –Dani Blum (Pitchfork)

Rather than working on his musical craft in any way, shape or form, he instead continues his stagnant reign of generic brag raps on his latest album, Good Intentions, further proving that he’s totally fine with operating at minimal effort. –Kevin Cortez (HipHopDX)
